Tantrum accident and lesson learned (I hope)

Today while I was making dinner Caitlin got one of my caning jars out. She has been pretty stubborn today and this incident was no exception. I told her to put the jar away and she didn't do it so I told her again to put the jar away. Angry, she threw the jar. While sweeping it up I noticed some blood on the tile. I realized that she had cut her foot so I got some Hydrogen Peroxide and some Hello Kitty band aids and became "Dr. mom." Did Caitlin learn her lesson? I hope so. But, we shall see...

Children's Museum

Caitlin and I took a day out on the town and went to the children's museum. It was loads of fun. Here are some pics:

Thanksgiving weekend

We had a great weekend. We went to Aunt Debbie's house and had so much fun. The food was delicious. Then we set up the Christmas tree on Friday. It looks pretty. Today I went to donal and Joyce's house. Jared, Lyndee, kurtis, and another one of Joyce's kids were there. I had a great time. It was fun to see people I hadn't seen for 20 years. By the way dad, your Chloe's favorite uncle. I'll upload pictures when google+ starts working again. Love you!

My house smells like Mexican food. It made me think of you. I made enchiladas and fried chips for dinner. It was delicious. I added lime juice to the fried chips. You should try it. It's super yummy. I hope you are doing well. I miss you. See you soon. I'll call you soon.

So a couple weeks ago I thought I would start working out from home again since Trent leaves later than he says he's going to. However, when I went to look up what time Total Body Workout was on on BYUTV it wasn't there. All day. Any day. Totally bummed, I got up at 6:30 (ugh) to go workout at the clubhouse. Last night I was watching the BYU basketball game and decided to get online and figure out what the heck happened to my workouts. I found the page for them and saw that I could do them online!! My other option was to do them when they came on on BYUTV. At 3 A.M. (No thank you.) So, praying they would play on my iPad I got up this morning and it worked! I did Sun Salutations Yoga and I feel so good! Tomorrow is yoga again with aerobics on Friday and yoga again on Saturday. The best part? There's 7 pages of workouts so it will take me a month and a half to do the first page again. I won't be doing the same workout every week. Perfect. Well, Caitlin is up so time to get busy. Love you guys!

Basketball season is here!

ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK GO KU ! Basketball season is here! You can bet we will be watching the KU game tonight. I wonder who my favorite KU player will be this year. Last week we got 1.5 feet of snow. It snowed Thursday night and didn't stop until Sunday afternoon. It's melting now and little blades of grass are starting to poke through. I called Dad today to see if he could give me Uncle Nilan's phone number. I also got Sarah Mcwhirter's number too. I gave her a call and we had a nice chat. She asked how all of you were doing. She has 6 kids! She has a girl, 3 boys, and pair of twin boys! She wants to get together sometime which would be fun since the twins are only 4 months older than Caitlin. Caitlin is learning so fast. Her newest word is door. She jabbers a lot which is fun and I actually understand some of it. Last night we asked her if she was going to sleep with her stuffed kitty and she said "meow, night night" which is her way of saying "I'm going to sleep with kitty when I go to bed." She has a cold and I can't give her anything for it yet so I tried turning her humidifier on and it was broken. So we bundled up and took a trip to Target and bought her a new one and she is taking a good nap with her new humidifier. I'm excited for thanksgiving next week. I'm sad that we won't be able to come home. Grandma Giles is coming for dinner though so that will be nice. I'm off to make jam! Love to all of you!
