Food for thought
A new week has started so it's time for...FOOD FOR THOUGHT SUNDAY! I know I had it on Saturday but I moved it to Sunday for weekly inspiration. This food for thought is brought to you by C.S. Lewis:
You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
Goodnight everyone! Happy Sunday!

Toy story and boots
Today "Santa" decided to go to the Disney store and get Caitlin this:

"Santa" didn't want to get it online because it was $10 more because of tax and shipping, so "Santa" drove into Salt Lake and went to the Disney Store. Well, they were out. Great. So a store employee told "Santa" that she could go to the cashier and order it AND get FREE SHIPPING! Saving $10, "Santa" bought it and now Caitlin has her big Santa presents for both houses. Now just the little fun stuff and some presents for her to open in Kansas. I had to go to Target today to get some things so I decided I needed some cute boots. I have nice dressy boots but I needed some boots for everyday wear. I bought these
Cute huh?! I can't wait to wear them.
Have a great Monday night!

GO JAZZ!!
Today was a good day. I decided to take Caitlin to the park before it snowed tomorrow, Sunday, and Monday. It was 41 degrees and the wind was really cold. She had a great time though.
Tonight we went to a Utah Jazz basketball game. Totally fun. Caitlin had a great time. The Jazz won. By A LOT!

Experiment gone wrong
Caitlin lives Christmas music. I have some on my iPod touch. Tonight she took it upstairs with her after dinner and we listened to it while getting her ready for bed. After stories and prayer I put her to bed and thought "I'll leave the music in here and she can listen to it while she goes to sleep." Bad idea. She didn't go to sleep and started screaming about 9:30. Trent got her out of bed (ugh) and brought her down. I made him put her back to bed after he left her with me to take care of while I was making jam that I don't think turned out. That is never happening again. The music or getting her out of bed. Experiment fail. Epic. FAIL.

Food for thought...
It's time for...FOOD FOR THOUGHT SATURDAY!!
This Saturday's food for thought is brought to you by Marjorie Pay Hinckley wife of President Gordon B Hinckley:
" I know it is hard for you young mothers to believe that almost before you can turn around the children will be gone and you will be alone with your husband. You had better be sure you are developing the kind of love and friendship that will be delightful and enduring. Let the children learn from your attitude that he is important. Encourage him. Be kind. It is a rough world, and he, like everyone else, is fighting to survive. Be cheerful. Don't be a whiner."
Have a good rest of the weekend! Weekend update coming soon!
